      Sinterklaas and Santa Claus Parade of Lights

      On the first Saturday of every December, holiday-makers can welcome jolly ol' St. Nick to New Westminster at the Westminster Quay Public Market and then watch Columbia Street come alive with music, floats and Christmas cheer.         Hyack Antique Car Easter Parade

        Every year, Easter Sunday in New Westminster sees the largest Easter Car Parade in the Pacific Northwest with approximately 200 vintage cars winding their way from the Quay to Queens Park. A host of family activities follow the parade at the park, including an Easter Egg Hunt and photos with the bunny himself.

          Sappterton Day & Bike Festival

          Sapperton Day, held in conjunction with the Sapperton Bike Festival, is held annually to celebrate this New Westminster area's history and everything on two wheels. The day features a pancake breakfast and mini-fair along with face-painting, a bike-decorating contest and a carousel.
