On the first Saturday of every December, holiday-makers can welcome jolly ol' St. Nick to New Westminster at the Westminster Quay Public Market and then watch Columbia Street come alive with music, floats and Christmas cheer. Parade begins at 4pm, Santa arrives at the Quay earlier in the day.

Every year, Easter Sunday in New Westminster sees the largest Easter Car Parade in the Pacific Northwest with approximately 200 vintage cars winding their way from the Quay to Queens Park. A host of family activities follow the parade at the park, including an Easter Egg Hunt and photos with the bunny himself.
